Project “Exploring Climate Decision-Making through VR” wins Student Design Contest

Our students Jule Kuppinger and Denise Flämig won the Student Design Contest at the “SLERD – Smart Learning Ecosystem and Regional Development” conference with their virtual world project “Smart Learning Ecosystem and Regional Development: Exploring Climate Decision-Making through VR—Navigating Urban Heat,” which they developed with the tool Delightex.

The two students developed the virtual world as part of their Media and Education Management (MBM) program at the Weingarten University of Education, and it also served as the basis for the virtual worlds integrated into the Mobile Makerboxes of our project.

You’ll be able to learn more about this here soon. For now: Congratulations to Jule Kuppinger and Denise Flämig.
